IN THE NEWS Our club has held several board meeting and teleconferences over the past 6 months. Various events have been planned by all of the clubs to maintain Lehigh Alumni spirit and to support the mission and goals of Lehigh University. The theme of Lehigh University Alumni Board and of our NNJ Club is to stay "Connected, Engaged, and Involved!" Since our restructuring in May/June of 2002, the Regional Club of Northern New Jersey (NNJ) has been very involved! Here are some of the events that the NNJ Club hosted: Freshman Sendoff at Mayfair Farms The 56th Annual Freshman/Alumni rally in Grace Hall welcoming the Class of 2006 Networking Night in Hoboken at the Black Bear Bar & Grill Tailgate party in Lehigh/Saucon Valley against Georgetown University (Lehigh won 69-0) Joint Tailgate with the New York Club at Fordham University in the parking lot prior to game. The dedication of the Haigh Cundey Varsity House The John Whitehead Memorial Service First Annual "Young Alumni Weekend" at Lehigh. It was a Big Success! A contingent of NNJ alumni traveled back to Lehigh's Grace Hall to witness the last wrestling match Lehigh versus Michigan . Hosted at Lehigh - Lafayette Telecast at Dorrian;s Pub in Jersey City for the first time in November! Event for a New Jersey Nets Basketball game at the Meadowlands Financial Education Night with Lord Abbot Funds at their headquarters in Jersey City, NJ College Fair Nights Planning an Alumni Cocktail Party at the Montclair Golf Club this Spring with Lehigh Speaker Our own Northern New Jersey Website to more effectively communicate with our local Alumni
